Electronic Discovery
Acquiring data forensically or otherwise is only the first step in the GSB|Legal Electronic Discovery process. Once evidence is gathered so it will stand up in court, litigation support teams and attorneys need to be able to manage and extract only case relevant data as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
GSB|Legal’s team of experts work closely with New York City law firms and litigation support clients to cull, filter and keyword search data using standard bearer technology, including Law 5.0, as well as the latest high tech applications, such as Clearwell. The GSB senior litigation support team works with clients to identify and isolate critical electronic evidence where responsive data is buried in large collections. By reducing the data set using proven and cutting edge technology, processing can take hours instead of days, thereby expediting the review process and yielding more targeted evidence to support a client’s case.
In the third step of the GSB Electronic Discovery model, GSB processes the relevant evidence, including text, native files and metadata, to create a TIFF file where evidence can be easily retrieved, searched and read by attorneys.
