Once the GSB | Legal support team culls down and indexes the data, processing takes place utilizing Law 5.0 software.

Step 3. Processing

During this phase, TIFF images are generated for each page and/or document. For electronic discovery purposes, text and metadata are extracted and delivered for database viewing software applications, such as Concordance and Summation. As part of GSB’s project management process, the company ensures the highest quality deliverable by performing rigorous quality control reviews before turning over a final product for client inspection.

In this third step of the GSB Electronic Discovery Process, the company works with multiple variations of electronically stored information, including:

• Native files (MS Office, Lotus)

• Mail Stores

• Compressed files, such as JPG, GIF, etc.

• HTML, HTM, MSG, etc.
