Automating the Legal Hold Process
Because Legal Hold Pro is a SaaS, there is no hardware or software to install and no commitment -- clients pay as they go. Initiating a Legal Hold is as simple as sending an email:

• Click “Initiate Hold” and a new form opens. Enter the custodians to receive the hold, and copy observers. After you’ve set your due date for custodian acknowledgement, input the contents of the legal hold notice and attach any additional documents. Simply hit the “Send Hold” button, and custodians will receive a formatted email telling them their action is required. At that point, they have the option of clicking on the embedded “I Accept” or “Contact Me” buttons, which is a defensible custodian receipt acknowledgement of the legal hold.

• Users can then track their holds through a dashboard called, The Legal Hold Center. Holds can easily be reissued along with routine reminders. Finally, and most importantly, Legal Hold Pro service produces a detailed audit trail, saved in a single database that is defensible in a court of law.
